Strengthening Global Research and Development Networks

AI Software Development Facility Established in India

ARKRAY, Inc. has opened its 4th research and development facility in Pune, Maharashtra, located in the western India. Full-scale operations to develop AI-powered clinical testing systems will begin at the facility from late December of 2018.

ARKRAY, Inc. (hereunder, ARKRAY) has R&D facilities in Japan, Singapore and the Republic of Korea, including the Kyoto Laboratory which plays a central role in the group's research and development. The 4th R&D facility was established as a subsidiary of India-based affiliate "ARKRAY Healthcare Pvt. Ltd."* . This Indian facility will mainly focus on the development of software using deep learning by employing the best talent in the field of AI technology in India, a world-leading country in the field of IT.

ARKRAY will continue to build upon its global R&D systems, accelerate the development of new products and technology, and promote the development of clinical testing systems which contribute to more accurate diagnosis.
